I wanted to express my appreciation and gratitude to everyone who threaded with him, especially his strong CR such as Kirk, Ranpo, Konoha and Perne. Even his great neg CR with Umbridge!
I'm so glad that you were able to have fun with him, as tricky as he can be to thread with. And I cherished all his threads and all the opportunities to be the goodest boy zombie. I hope I can come up with other chances for us to play with other characters in the future!

P.S. I apologize for being practically non-existent for the past few weeks. Executive dysfunction hit me hard. Here's hoping that lightening my plate will help with that too.

thedarkbondThis has been on the cards for a while, but I've been having real trouble with motivation in Prisma in the last few months and while I tried an unofficial hiatus in June to recover it, I ended up...never really coming back from that unofficial hiatus, which I think is a sign it's time for me to be dropping Ren and bowing out of the game.
I've had a ton of fun in this game and I'm glad for all the CR I've gotten with Ren, and hopefully I run into some of the folks here in other games in future! There's been a lot of people and characters I've had the chance to play with here that I might not have in a smaller game, so I'm glad for having apped when I did even if I burnt out much faster than I would've expected.
Since Ren would've set up Sanctuary Gaming to operate as normal in the event of his disappearance, he'll be getting replaced by an NPC he set up for the position at some point prior (probs a young koi Prismal woman about the same age as him so it goes from big redhead energy to...big redhead energy) but it'll be pretty much seamless.
Anyway, it's been real and I've had a great time, see you all around some sunny day in the future!

Jul. 28th, 2020 07:57 pmfoeyayI want Kamui to run out of chroma during Sanguis moon in August! But because this is Kamui we're talking about, he can't just do it quietly. That's where you guys come in!
Kamui's event-fueled spa day is going to have him craving the water too much to bother getting out of the sun in time, and sun is extremely not good for Kamui's species. Too much sun is fatal levels of not good. Pretty much the moment he moonlaces his way out of his obsession, he will use up all the chroma he's gained and more just to get home and healthy. Then Sanguis moon hits! Kamui has no friends he can call for a quick chroma fix, and even if he did, they'd probably say no because 99% of Kamui's chroma has been earned by punching people.
Thus, while in the process of crystalizing and fully immersed in Sanguis-brand temperament, he's going to head out into the streets looking for a fight. When he finds it, he'll promptly snap and do some heavy property damage before losing consciousness. It'll be a blast.
I plan to have a very open log for after this mess, so that anyone can find his unconscious, crystalizing body in whatever embarrassing position Sougo Okita leaves him in or chat him up once he's awake and revived, but before that, I need one or two volunteers to be the catalyst that sets him off! This could involve anything from your poor, innocent character smelling like someone he knows from home to your character saying the absolute worst thing at the worst time to your character outright accepting a fight right there in the middle of the city. He's already got limited chroma, so it's not going to take much for his temper tantrum to drain him dry. He also won't attack your character at all if they aren't receptive to it. Hence he'll be leaving behind property damage, nothing more.
If you think your character would get in on this indirectly, I'd love to plot over that too! Moon Knights investigating the damage, someone complaining about that shop sign that was thrown through their apartment window, etc. I'm all ears, and I'm not against punishment for this outburst either.

But I'm afraid I don't think I can keep him going any longer as I've started struggling with motivation to play him and keep up with his threads, and so I'll be dropping him. So I'm deciding to bow out now, but I hope to someday come back since I love all the CR but it's not fair to you guys to have me sitting here doing nothing. I loved all the time I spent here and all the stuff I did but I need to get my head straight before I can do anything else here. Sorry to everyone who had CR with Karma and Zenitsu but... yeah.

sympathyforadevilThis probably isn't going to be that much of a surprise to people here, but... I'm having some big time motivation problems with regard to this game and I'm not certain if that's stemming from the game itself at this point or just plain old mental health issues talking. Either way, I'm bowing out. I hope to return someday since the people I've interacted with are all great, but at this point I can't keep doing this to you guys, because that's not fair.
