If I owe you tags, could you let me know? I came across a weird feature on Gmail -- it was hoarding e-mails from over 5 years ago, and I had to empty the entire folder which also deleted all my tags.

I'm so sorry. I am also befuddled...! But yes, thank you.

Hello! I don't think we have any tags, but if you go to this page it will show you all your comments. Anything with a * has been replied to so that may help you find your threads!

(Just remember not to hit delete on that page as it will delete the comment itself.)

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much! This does really help.

I had cleared out my DW comments inbox cause I had done that meme and went, "I will just use my inbox" then found that weird folder and as I was deleting those emails, I was going, "I will just use my DW inbox" before realizing what a fool I was.

Yeek. It's ok, everyone has whoopsies with their notifs sometimes I think. I sometimes accidentally delete emails on my phone because I don't realize they've been grouped together on mobile when I have it set to separate on desktop version. u_u It happens, I'm sure everyone understands.

this might also help: you can tell gmail to send it to specific labels or tabs, particularly things like character labels and "never send to spam". just go to "filters and blocked addresses" in your settings and make one with "from: dw_null@dreamwidth.org" and give it directions from there.

just so it doesn't happen again! it's saved my life so many times.
