I want Kamui to run out of chroma during Sanguis moon in August! But because this is Kamui we're talking about, he can't just do it quietly. That's where you guys come in!
Kamui's event-fueled spa day is going to have him craving the water too much to bother getting out of the sun in time, and sun is extremely not good for Kamui's species. Too much sun is fatal levels of not good. Pretty much the moment he moonlaces his way out of his obsession, he will use up all the chroma he's gained and more just to get home and healthy. Then Sanguis moon hits! Kamui has no friends he can call for a quick chroma fix, and even if he did, they'd probably say no because 99% of Kamui's chroma has been earned by punching people.
Thus, while in the process of crystalizing and fully immersed in Sanguis-brand temperament, he's going to head out into the streets looking for a fight. When he finds it, he'll promptly snap and do some heavy property damage before losing consciousness. It'll be a blast.
I plan to have a very open log for after this mess, so that anyone can find his unconscious, crystalizing body in whatever embarrassing position Sougo Okita leaves him in or chat him up once he's awake and revived, but before that, I need one or two volunteers to be the catalyst that sets him off! This could involve anything from your poor, innocent character smelling like someone he knows from home to your character saying the absolute worst thing at the worst time to your character outright accepting a fight right there in the middle of the city. He's already got limited chroma, so it's not going to take much for his temper tantrum to drain him dry. He also won't attack your character at all if they aren't receptive to it. Hence he'll be leaving behind property damage, nothing more.
If you think your character would get in on this indirectly, I'd love to plot over that too! Moon Knights investigating the damage, someone complaining about that shop sign that was thrown through their apartment window, etc. I'm all ears, and I'm not against punishment for this outburst either.

My friend you are speaking the language of the Gods to me. I'm cool with the not rampant battle mania too, but I think Shigaraki's already going to be upset. If there's a fight to be had or a fight to pick, you dang rights he's going to want to.

Sadly, Shigaraki won't get the fight he wants because Kamui will run out of chroma right away if he's really throwing his weight around, but that just means what little fight they get is going to have to count for something. Maybe Kamui gets one direct hit in, and his power sparks Shigaraki's interest? Or even Kamui misses because he's passing out but takes down the entire building behind Shigaraki anyway? I'm not sure what exactly would make Shigaraki come back for more.

Anything that shows he has potentially big ol' power and he is t h e r e. Because let's face it, he takes out even a sidewalk and he's THAT bad off? You know that man is a badass and you know that you gotta get back in there at full.

Out of curiosity, would he stick around after Kamui faints? Maybe he could even meet Sougo Okita if you and his player would be interested in some bonus CR.

That could totally happen if the other player would like. If he's trying to do what I have in mind, which is gather powerful allies at least, I don't think he'd just let him lay there unattended. I think it could absolutely happen if you both wish!

That... is an excellent point, ha! We can absolutely aftermath it. Is there any extra flavor you'd want to add to it/plot out, or would you rather just roll with the punches when the log happens?

He will be annoyed if Hijikata ends up having to help him out so soon after he told the guy he was dumb for being so concerned with him. He won't be able to complain though, because he'll need it, and that makes me happy. So please. Be his clean-up crew.
