Welcome to Prismatica, a panfandom sex-friendly sci-fi/fantasy game for you to hopefully indulge in all of your RP needs. Here are some important things to keep track of this upcoming month and the beginning of next:

Our next event will start on July 24th, but you are free to backdate and backlog for as long as you need. The OOC plotting post will be going up on prismaticaooc on July 23rd!

We will not be making an official log for the event. Instead, we encourage others to post their top-levels or links to relevant network/log posts on the upcoming event post. However, we ask that you refrain from RPing on the OOC community. The event post will merely serve as a directory for all player posts related to the event. Please see last month's OOC event post for reference.

Whether or not you want to keep TDM threads canon is up to you! You may also handwave your character’s initial arrival so they can plunge directly into plot things if you wish.

Please look at our calendar for reference as to when moon cycles fall! Since it is something that will happen regularly, we will not have a log up for that, but your characters can react accordingly via the network or in their own logs if you wish. There might be times when the moonblessings overlap with events, so please keep that in mind. If you would like more information on the moonblessings, please read the moonblessing page. Info: Her app and a more abridged info post! Please note that the way her powers work will affect how she interacts with people, because she can see a person's soul!
About: Polite monster girl who eats souls and has a curse that makes physical contact more difficult than normal! Sweet and considerate, with limited emotions, and still dealing with the fact that she just escaped a few decades of confinement. She's also technically blind, but can see the souls of living things around her, which illuminate her world.
Moonblessing: Iris! Dangerously cuddly. Probably going to start mild at first.

Desired CR: Friends! Cheyenne has never had friends before, please introduce her to this concept.
Found family!! My favorite trope for Cheyenne, who has a tendency to say very tragic things casually because they don't emotionally impact her in the same way. Plz adopt.
Souls...?? Cheyenne needs to feed on at least one soul every three weeks to maintain her sanity, but prefers to feed once a week. More information can be found in her info post, but tl;dr all she does is drain their energy a little bit. If they eat a candy bar, they're better. She does this by creating illusions, which can be fun, given she can create things she's never seen as well!
In terms of character types: she is rather difficult for me to play off of other characters with muted/mild personalities, so characters with really loud/dynamic personalities will get the best reactions from her! Other fun character types are characters whose soul is Different in some way, vampires (she was originally created from one and may seem to have a similar aura), or fellow abominations.

Future Plans: Cheyenne's whole thing is that she was created with a curse designed to keep her lonely, by literally making it hard to get close with people. Despite that, she loves physical touch, and wants to develop and understand her emotions more. Her own soul is fractured, but is capable of healing! So basically, just working on fostering close relationships. And maybe some lewds further down the line, don't judge me.

Smut Preferences: Cheyenne is physically 15, but has been alive for over 200 years! She has an opt-in on her permissions. Not looking for direct smut until she has more CR, but I'm totally open to having her react to awkward sexual situations with any character!

Desired CR: I'm open to just about anything, but I'd especially appreciate idiot men, depressed men, disaster men, other capable/magical ladies, anyone involved with the occult, and vampires/demons/general non-human types.
Future Plans: After she gets adjusted, Sypha's going to be really interested in expanding her knowledge of this world, seeking local legends and generally relearning the equivalents of the shit she knew back home. I want her to eventually discover that the Secret Ancient Prismal Language exists and start digging into that because it's right up her alley. She's also not used to...living in a house, much less being in the same place for long periods of time, so she's going to get a bit stir crazy. Get bored, look for exciting shit and mundane things she can do to help other folks, maybe enroll at the academy to get up to speed and have something to do, who knows. I also want Sypha to get hardcore into video games? It'll probably start as something she does to take the edge off during Moon Times but she'll grow into a bonafide Gamer that enjoys playing things with a competitive or strategic aspect.

Future Plans: The Exarch is a big enough nerd that he'll be actively interested in learning about Prismatica's history and exploring it in all the ways my other character is not so I hope to get him involved with 'the lore'. Being familiar with time travel and world hopping he will be willing to treat his stay in Prismatica as a momentary pitstop rather than a place to be immediately escaped.

Future Plans: I would like to see Takao grow up some, he is still a seventeen-year-old guy and prone to impulses so it will help him learn to not always be out for a good time. I'd also like him to eventually have a few solid chroma partners while developing his gen CR and maybe expand his hobbies outside of basketball. Fair warning though, getting on the court is his first priority and he will be joining his teammate at all costs to play.

Basically, he's incredibly polite, and nice, and is the type to hold old lady's hands as they walk across the street, but he's also an incredibly ruthless mercenary who can and will stab you if you even look at him funny. He's one of those weird anime authors that you might have seen around the place, and his ability, The Grapes of Wrath, basically allows him to become a walking vineyard, and it does not look as nice or pretty as it sounds. Overall, totally a guy you should be friends with.

Desired CR: This is technically me re-apping him back after dropping the ball with AC, but I would love, LOVE new CR for him! Please apply especially if your character:

Future Plans: I want him to get wrecked! He's a bit of bomb waiting to explode, so unless he channels those bad thoughts and emotions somewhere, he might find terrible avenues for them. Do you want your character to corrupt him? Go for it. He's all yours.
Smut Preferences: He's in a serious relationship with Lovecraft, so he'll be a bit harder to get into smut with anyone, but he's willing to flirt the night away and go for it if the moment's right. He's especially into knifeplay, vines used as tentacles, xenophilia, and getting real rough during sex. He's just that kind of guy.

Info: HERE. please ignore that there's not much there; i'm working on summarizing her background and personality in a pretty info post when i get the chance.
About: the "i am no longer baby, i want power" tumblr post in a nutshell and also the epitome of a slytherin.

jude was raised by a ruthless general — who just so happens to be her parents' murderer — and is every bit a reflection of that. she's an ordinary mortal who went from being constantly terrorized by fey to becoming queen with the help of a lot of lies, bargaining, scheming, and murder. just a little bit of murder.

in a nutshell: she's perceptive, persistent, clever and a great strategist as a result, very dedicated, pretty feisty, self-controlled, and uh. power-hungry, cagey, has a bad case of bloodlust at times, and has a lot of trust and control issues due to her upbringing. she's gotten a little better with said trust and control issues and all of the wariness that comes with it, but is still working those out. jude/knives is also an otp of this series.

Moonblessing: cordis; aiming for a mix of the nine-tailed fox exalted form and probably some feline traits to reflect her adoptive father and his daughter / jude's half-sister — probably some kind of solitary big cat like a panther. :')

Desired CR: literally everything and anything. close cr she can learn to be vulnerable with; people who might be able to get her to actually learn some chill for more than 5 seconds because relaxing and living a normal life is not an experience she's ever had. allies, either begrudgingly or in a form that can grow into confidants. possibly friends, though she sucks at actual friend-making. frenemies, enemies, to get on her nerves and/or challenge her; sparring partners, as well as other characters that are Intense. tbh, i love negative cr that pushes characters to develop or regress as well.
Future Plans: my plans are a little vague at the moment, but mostly: working on those trust and control issues she has, getting her to a place where she can be vulnerable with close cr. learning to live a normal life that doesn't involve constant scheming and being backstabbed and figuring out what a life outside of faerie looks like for her??
Smut Preferences: here! m/f, f/f, f/nb, canon and cross-canon, cross-medium — it's all good, so long as characters are 18 and above. i prefer to get a feel for the thread and/or cr a little first and jude is ... jude, so some of these kinks might take some time/cr development to work up to & smut, at the moment, isn't likely to happen outside of events, moonblessings, similar circumstances etc.

Spent some time dancing under the ownership of a man who didn't deserve the privilege of breathing, and is only now really shown to open up to people after travelling with her friends who she'd kill for. Old habits mean sometimes she flirts? Though she doesn't generally mean anything by it and is usually just teasing.. Sex is like. A business thing considering she danced in a pleasure house. A dramatic romantic, tbh, but considering where she's taken from canonwise she'd probably shy away from any real attempt for awhile. Generally nice enough, so long as you're not an utter bastard. Aloof until she grows comfortable and is seen to be kind of a goofball.

Her Not Wanting to moonlace with like, anyone out of her comfortable circle (and her not wanting to be a burden on them) means she's going to want an actual source of income and well, she used to be her place's moneymaker so stick to what you know, right? Desired CR: I'm down for anything really! While Faust generally keeps to himself he doesn't really hate people, he just tends to be cautious and distrusting because... Well. His world sucks and his life has been pretty shitty. But I'd love for him to make friends of any variety but I'd also be more than down for rivals (friendly or otherwise), or even older people he could learn from. He's a very hard worker and would definitely want to keep up on training and learning new stuff so if anything like that developed it would be great.

Future Plans: As a preemptive note, I am not playing her to current WoW storyline. I've actually taken her prior to the burning of Teldrassil, so that I can hold onto some of that questionable nature of hers without it diving severely overboard. While I can't ever see Sylvanas largely changing her overall perception of the living, it would be cool to eventually witness her become a little more begrudgingly tolerant. I have a deep interest in her evolution as an individual, learning some life lessons due to the circumstances here, and really being forced to reassess herself. Mind, I don't expect any of that to happen anytime soon, and thus I'm interested in exploring all of these complexities about her, and enjoying her journey of self-discovery.

Hello! I enjoyed playing their standoff on the TDM. The tension was a lot of fun. I feel like their CR could sort of run the whole spectrum itself if Wrathion ever lowers his hackles long enough, since he... you know... does plenty of questionable things himself in the name of his own greater good.
