Welcome to Prismatica, a panfandom sex-friendly sci-fi/fantasy game for you to hopefully indulge in all of your RP needs. Here are some important things to keep track of this upcoming month and the beginning of next:

Our next event will start on July 24th, but you are free to backdate and backlog for as long as you need. The OOC plotting post will be going up on

prismaticaooc on July 23rd!

We will not be making an official log for the event. Instead, we encourage others to post their top-levels or links to relevant network/log posts on the upcoming event post. However, we ask that you refrain from RPing on the OOC community. The event post will merely serve as a directory for all player posts related to the event. Please see last month's OOC event post for reference.

Whether or not you want to keep TDM threads canon is up to you! You may also handwave your character’s initial arrival so they can plunge directly into plot things if you wish.

Please look at our calendar for reference as to when moon cycles fall! Since it is something that will happen regularly, we will not have a log up for that, but your characters can react accordingly via the network or in their own logs if you wish. There might be times when the moonblessings overlap with events, so please keep that in mind. If you would like more information on the moonblessings, please read the moonblessing page. For any additional questions, feel free to drop us a line on the FAQ.

Character Name: Faust
Canon: Arknights

About: While Faust is technically one of the "bad guys" and a boss in a couple stages there really aren't many completely "good guys" in Arknights. He's part of a terrorist group known as Reunion made completely of people infected with a terminal disease called Oripathy. But even before becoming Infected to say Faust's life was pretty shitty would be a giant understatement.

He's a sniper and normally a man of few words but even though he might come off as cold and a bit harsh he's actually not a bad kid. Sometimes when life hands you lemons you just have to pick up a crossbow and become a super annoying video game boss.

Moonblessing: Iris. I'm still deciding on how exactly I want his traits to manifest but I'll figure it out.
Desired CR: I'm down for anything really! While Faust generally keeps to himself he doesn't really hate people, he just tends to be cautious and distrusting because... Well. His world sucks and his life has been pretty shitty. But I'd love for him to make friends of any variety but I'd also be more than down for rivals (friendly or otherwise), or even older people he could learn from. He's a very hard worker and would definitely want to keep up on training and learning new stuff so if anything like that developed it would be great.
Future Plans: Faust blames himself pretty heavily for a lot of stuff so I'd like for him to eventually open up a little more about all of that and learn to have some semblance of a "normal" life, even if that just means making another friend or two. Or even just like... venting a bit. ~~Cause boy does he need to.~~
Smut Preferences: While I'm open to smut down the road it's going to be a very slow burn thing. Faust will take a while to warm up to people and getting used to the idea of physical contact of any sort will also be new so... It will all be a WIP.

Love to continue more CR with Faust after our TDM thread. They seem to have a lot of similarities.

I'd like that too! They can talk more about how both of them just have the worst luck. ~~Or in Faust's case just poor choice in friends.~~

And, you know, Jules' first friend in the Tavali did end up getting them arrested together...

Yeah hopefully the event will help with something there?

Oh? Faust's childhood/arguably only friend is... Basically a necromancer who did A Lot of horrible stuff that I don't have enough room to list off here fft.

I can never find these darn events. I'll have to go digging again.

Jules doesn't have a childhood friend. He's finally gained some as an adult. One of his first adult friends (who is now his brother in law) saw Jules get treated like shit and learned that the guys who treated him like shit had previously beat the snot out of him. So he offered to go with him and lead the charge to show them how wrong that decision was. It resulted in a huge fight and Jules ripping off a guy's ear. No big deal, right?

That definitely doesn't sound like a big deal to me! He probably didn't need that ear anyway...

Faust's childhood friend was bullied a lot and Faust used to beat up the kids who picked on him. His friend's dad was also abusive and he offered to go deal with him too only to find out his friend had mind-controlled his bullies to set his house on fire with his dad inside so... Just some fun childhood shenanigans there.

Dude, Jules will be kind of jealous if he ever learns about that. He would have done ANYTHING to have someone stand up for him to even a tiny degree. And he'd totally understand the sentiment of setting the house on fire, though he'd much rather pick a more personal means...

Faust was an orphan and grew up in the sewers and his friend gave him food and taught him how to read so he's always been the type to stick up for people who treat him decently.

They can relate to that then! Sort of. Jules has just never had anyone stick up for him until recently.

I'm so, sooo canon blind to Arknights but this guy looks super interesting to play off of! He's certainly been through a lot and I'd love to help him take another step closer to a normal life... Louis here is a helplessly kind person and would easily reach out, but he's pretty respectful of boundaries, too.

I don't know how much wisdom he could impart for only being a few years older, but I think there's potential in a gradual friendship and mutual respect. They both carry the guilt of innocent blood on their hands and seem to be equally capable of fighting when it's due while being merciful to the uninvolved.

Additionally, Louis has a keen interest in medicine and would be curious about oripathy if Faust would ever be comfortable sharing! I'm just personally a sucker for cold, closed characters warming up to people, so I'd be happy if that could happen!!

Oh my goodness all of that sounds perfect and 100% up my alley too. Yeah for a long time Faust seemed pretty one note and like a side character but when they actually delved into his backstory I was like "Oh no... My son." I'm a sucker for closed and seemingly-collected characters myself so when we got insight into it all I loved him more.

But I would definitely be down for him and Louis chatting and building up some mutual respect and comradery! Especially since they share some similar points and could maybe eventually open up about that to one another.

Really Faust wouldn't mind talking about Oripathy too much, it's mostly just going to be weird for him to adjust to living somewhere where he isn't ostracized for it. It's also usually possible to pass it through contact so getting over that is going to be new too.

I agree that they definitely have some strong similarities beneath the surface! I think it'd be interesting too for Louis to eventually learn about his situation as part of a terrorist group, since he understands the occasional necessity for moral grays... He's not so stubborn in his sense of justice that he wouldn't be able to see someone for a victim of circumstance.

I hope the event gives em a reason to bump into each other, but if not I'm sure we can work something out anyway!! I'm determined!

Sparring is also an option, since they're both powered... I plan to let Louis spend his Sanguis energies there, haha.

Ahhhhh, and now he's in a place where touch is not only safe but encouraged... The emotions!! The potential!!! I'm already so excited for him?!

That's good too! Faust definitely doesn't care what people think about what he's had to do but he also doesn't like... Love it either, if that makes any sense haha. Unfortunately without Reunion he might not even have lived very far into adolescence because they taught him all the combat skills he has now.

Agreed! But yeah if all else fails I'm sure we can find some other way to throw them together?? We will make this happen!

Oooh yes. Faust isn't exactly specialized in hang-to-hand things but he's sparred with all sorts and if all else fails I'm always down for him getting his butt handed to him and possibly learning new stuff!
