▶ BASIL Contact:woodrift Timezone & Availability: EST Interests: Cooking, random history dives (I mean, look at this man), otherwise I'm deep into fandom. Current ones include Fire Emblem, RWBY, AtLA, and I'm finally sitting down to watch InuYasha: The Final Act
Character Name: Carey Marshall Canon: Original Character Info:App and More Detailed Post if you want to wade through the tl;dr. About: In Short: Marshall here is a dumb cowboy/odd jobs man who fell in favor with an eldritch sun entity during the full solar eclipse of 1889. This causes a variety of Problems for him... oh, and he cares enough about his family's welfare that he unwittingly took a bodyguarding job for a Vampire and now is on a Victorian Era Global Adventure.
Moonblessing: Iris-- and I'm hoping to go for the weird jackalope vibes if possible. He's also already tactile with his affections anyway, so this shall be fun. Desired CR: Marshall is an awkward cinnamon roll who looks like he can kill. I'm down for anything, but friendly shenanigans that allow him to act like the Big Brother that he is and excuses for him to get into trouble will be adored.
Future Plans: Marshall has a distinct problem with either accidentally or purposfully putting on the blinders to the weird stuff happening around him and just dealing. I'm really interested in pushing this limit and seeing what all he can tolerate before he finally breaks that 1880s working class politeness he has and finally admits that things are weird and he's in over his head.
Smut Preferences: He's got Big Brothering Habits, so no one who is Obviously Too Young. If it's an immortality thing we can go on a case by case basis, otherwise to him physical intimacy is something that's fun-- he's just dumb at realizing when people are Actually Attracted to him, since Attraction doesn't really register.
Other: Yes, I'm aware that I'm using Rodrigo Santoro's character from Westworld as a PB, and I'm willing to negotiate on this if someone can help me find a better fit. This man... fits way too well, so I'm not disappointed.
