Welcome to Prismatica, a panfandom sex-friendly sci-fi/fantasy game for you to hopefully indulge in all of your RP needs. Here are some important things to keep track of this upcoming month and the beginning of next:

Our next event will start on July 24th, but you are free to backdate and backlog for as long as you need. The OOC plotting post will be going up on prismaticaooc on July 23rd!

We will not be making an official log for the event. Instead, we encourage others to post their top-levels or links to relevant network/log posts on the upcoming event post. However, we ask that you refrain from RPing on the OOC community. The event post will merely serve as a directory for all player posts related to the event. Please see last month's OOC event post for reference.

Whether or not you want to keep TDM threads canon is up to you! You may also handwave your character’s initial arrival so they can plunge directly into plot things if you wish.

Please look at our calendar for reference as to when moon cycles fall! Since it is something that will happen regularly, we will not have a log up for that, but your characters can react accordingly via the network or in their own logs if you wish. There might be times when the moonblessings overlap with events, so please keep that in mind. If you would like more information on the moonblessings, please read the moonblessing page. For any additional questions, feel free to drop us a line on the FAQ.

I've never heard of this series but I've been like secretly stalking Jian Yi on the TDM this whole time cuz he's been inexplicably fascinating me — I'd love to throw Shishi at him sometime, just to indulge my curiosity over JY haha! ♥

I snooped a little on 19 Days when I first saw Jian Yi, it seems a slice of life series, yea? Shishi's from Yu Yu Hakusho so like lol as shounen as it gets, but even tho he's a fighter, he's a kinda stylish, glamorous guy, so he's keener on more "normal" things like nightlife and shopping and shit than probs others in his series, so could be pretty flexible there tbh! I think what attracted me to Jian Yi is his high energy. Shishi is a fairly minor character but he seems to get on well with more flamboyant, vivacious, effervescent people. And Jian Yi gave me those vibes, idk! Made me curious.

Also I just love this art style and his character design and it caught my eye aesthetically haha. But could be similar reasoning IC too ngl! Shishi's a super vain person tho so he'd def be more inclined to talk to Jian Yi just cuz he's cute too hahah

It shows the four main guys growing up and the things they grow through. There are a lot of mafia overtones. Jian Yi gets kidnapped once and then spends a long time with a bodyguard following him around to keep him safe. They deal with the normal pains of being young and learning who they are, etc. Most of the chapters are happier because they end up becoming a band. lmao. Ohhh. A stylish glamorous guy. Jian Yi is down. Those are his vibes. I think he'd like Shishi.

self-reflection, drama with friends, confusing romances, forming your first band, being kidnapped by the mafia, y'know, all the typical high school problems. got it.

Shishi will probs be doing some self-reflection himself here, his social life is about to be SO different than it is at home, and suddenly involving a lot of humans lol or else uh he'll be almost alone. so he's gonna be awkwardly figuring out how to regard humans more fondly while he makes friends. at home he has ONE friend. one. and he's a terrifyingly/hilariously narcissistic, over-the-top, gay clown. so uh. th-that's what i'm working with here. shishi isn't Doing the Most as much as Suzuki tho, he's more mild by far. But I think people with this BIG bright energy like that amuse and mellow him, maybe even inspire him a lil. So I'm seeking out these characters that give me good vibes like that. We'll see how it goes haha. I'm so excited! Ty for indulging me hehe! ☆

omg this is amazing. i had no idea and it's perfect. just a fair warning that jian yi will probably unintentionally moonlace with him because he can get handsy and clingy and he likes to jump on his friends. plus he's new to all this and he... won't be able to help it.

Oh I'm also planning to apply with Zuko from Avatar: the Last Airbender next month, and will be practicing with him in the meantime on the TDM, both this last one and the next one... he's uh a fuck ton grumpier lol, but if you're familiar with him and think that could be a fun dynamic to play with, I'd be down to play around with him too! ☆

omg this is so funny. cuz he's a virgin, right, from what I gathered when I snooped? He has this intense sexual tension with his friend ZZX (who is not here but the other two friends are, r)? When I was lurking on him and Mo (I actually don't know if I'm getting these characters' names right cuz i only cared about Jian Yi lol but I'm going with it lol), he seemed somewhat uncomfortable about sex but also seemed rather focused on it. did i read that mostly right about his character?

Yeah, he is. lmao. He struggles with sexuality and how he felt about his friend ZZX. He's not in game but the other two are! Jian Yi had to come to terms with loving him romantically, not wanting to ruin their friendship, and thinking there was something wrong with him for feeling that way. He is uncomfortable with sex but at the same time he's so clingy and handsy. It's just not usually to turn things to sex but because it's fun. lol. He'll probably cry the first few times he has sex with anyone. Unfortunately. He's going to ask Mo Guanshan ( jian yi calls him Lil Mo or Redhead ) to take his virginity because he can't with a stranger and he can't ask their other friend He Tian because he scares him a little. Haha.

that's really cute and i honestly have queer friends with similar stories. i-i had similar stories, haha, but i was in the place of zzx with my jian yi friend in tenth grade oh no lol. it seems very compelling tho, that's all very adorable and endearing. Shishi is not the best person for Jian Yi to have sex with, for Jian Yi's own mental health, I'll tell you that now. He's not a compassionate person by nature, he's not used to having friendships or intimate relationships with humans, and humans are a lot more emotional and sensitive and caring than his kind, so that stuff confuses and irritates him, he wouldn't be comforting to Jian Yi at all. He'd probably just leave cuz shit got awkward lol. So let's keep their dynamic friendly and fun but flirty if it goes that way! Shishi's definitely the kind of person who would like touchy friends like that. I have friends irl who are touchy like Jian Yi lol makeup artists, we know no boundaries and I think that'd be so fun and cute to play out in game! one of my friends has the exact disposition of a cat — the type that stares you down while knocking shit off tables, can be touched only when she wants to, will walk up to hug you spontaneously and then immediately walk away silently (or go "ew" lol), that type of cat — and she often would come to me and demand flatly out of nowhere "play with my hair" and then go "ok" and leave when she was done with that lol. and with shishi once he gets close to certain people, i think it will be... very that, ha.

I'd be totally into playing out them dealing with something happening and shishi leaving and things being awkward, too. that can also be a lot of fun. or it can be flirty and casual. basically anything is good with me! this all sounds like it's going to be great!
