Welcome to Prismatica, a panfandom sex-friendly sci-fi/fantasy game for you to hopefully indulge in all of your RP needs. Here are some important things to keep track of this upcoming month and the beginning of next:

Our next event will start on July 24th, but you are free to backdate and backlog for as long as you need. The OOC plotting post will be going up on prismaticaooc on July 23rd!

We will not be making an official log for the event. Instead, we encourage others to post their top-levels or links to relevant network/log posts on the upcoming event post. However, we ask that you refrain from RPing on the OOC community. The event post will merely serve as a directory for all player posts related to the event. Please see last month's OOC event post for reference.

Whether or not you want to keep TDM threads canon is up to you! You may also handwave your character’s initial arrival so they can plunge directly into plot things if you wish.

Please look at our calendar for reference as to when moon cycles fall! Since it is something that will happen regularly, we will not have a log up for that, but your characters can react accordingly via the network or in their own logs if you wish. There might be times when the moonblessings overlap with events, so please keep that in mind. If you would like more information on the moonblessings, please read the moonblessing page. For any additional questions, feel free to drop us a line on the FAQ.

HOO BOY yes he is the main vampire love interest in Anita Blake! :')

Also deep questions: would he work in the bar if it were also sometimes a (probably mostly male) strip club? Jean-Claude's bar in canon was a vampire strip club and it could be fun to replicate at least some of that here...... I'd also really love to have actual characters as some of the staff instead of just handwaving NPC's into it so if he'd be okay with all of the above PLEASE I WOULD LOVE THIS

Ahha, I feel like I've seen 15m of the show. (There...was a show?) And have read zero of the books. Canonblind I am.

And HRM. That IS a deep question. Because on the one hand it would be a dramatic challenge to his worldviews and like. His sense of propriety in general. On the other, he's a rebel who likes being a bit daring as he flirts with the boundaries. If he eased into it a little, I feel like he would make an excellent bouncer. (He might not have the heft, but he's got magic!) Honestly, I think /I/ would have a delight making him work in the bar and I kinda wanna do it for that reason alone. He's a little bit ascetic! He should learn to mix drinks!

HAHA there was talk of a show but it never came to be. but there are 500000 books, and the first few were adapted into comics, which is where i got my icons from!

and oh man, what better way to flirt with the boundaries then, than to associate himself with a vampire who can literally feed off of sexual energy to survive :') jean-claude thinks his manners are precious so far btw, PLEASE let us have them get to know each other more! jc can be a mentor, in a sense of the word HAHA

I am *definitely* mixing it up with some other vampire novel show, then. XD So I am like, worse than canonblind. I'm like, thinking it's the wrong canon entirely. XD

Whoever drew the comics did a good job on the sheer curly nonsense of his hair, imho. Amazing.
