Welcome to Prismatica, a panfandom sex-friendly sci-fi/fantasy game for you to hopefully indulge in all of your RP needs. Here are some important things to keep track of this upcoming month and the beginning of next:

Our next event will start on July 24th, but you are free to backdate and backlog for as long as you need. The OOC plotting post will be going up onprismaticaooc on July 23rd!
We will not be making an official log for the event. Instead, we encourage others to post their top-levels or links to relevant network/log posts on the upcoming event post. However, we ask that you refrain from RPing on the OOC community. The event post will merely serve as a directory for all player posts related to the event. Please see last month's OOC event post for reference.

Whether or not you want to keep TDM threads canon is up to you! You may also handwave your character’s initial arrival so they can plunge directly into plot things if you wish.

Please look at our calendar for reference as to when moon cycles fall! Since it is something that will happen regularly, we will not have a log up for that, but your characters can react accordingly via the network or in their own logs if you wish. There might be times when the moonblessings overlap with events, so please keep that in mind. If you would like more information on the moonblessings, please read the moonblessing page. For any additional questions, feel free to drop us a line on the FAQ.

heh! at least shishi would protect him from supernatural danger. that's definitely not souji's department.

Haha idk if Shishi would PROTECT him from supernatural danger tbh, ngl, like if they end up fighting side-by-side in an event or something (a character told Shishi sometimes there are swarms of beasts and such that need to be fought off)... he wouldn't use his own supernatural forces on him when practicing together, just in good form. but battle honor is very important to him (bushidou samurai shit and all), he only respects capable fighters (out of all types of people period, i mean, like that's the only kind of person who can earn his respect lol, brutal), so considering that Souji is shinsengumi, Shishi would basically throw his hands up in trust like "hey, you're a talented human swordsman, shogun's police, one of only 300 warriors, go, do your thing, that's all on you as a fighter." He's not especially merciful or empathetic, not a pacifist at all. It can be pretty cold and scornful at times but there is a real logic there, too, even if it's a bit twisted. He's not heartless, he just follows his own moral compass.

also the art changes considerably. by now it's too good compared to the beginning.
so... a hijikata sort of person? 😬 souji doesn't expect anyone to save him, he's the savior after all! about practicing, it'd be only amicable and to test his endurance against shishi. not for nothing he's the best swordsman of the squad.

heheh good we are on the same page. shishi is not as uptight as hijikata, not so strict he's pretty relaxed, he's very vain and cocky and snide, more emphatic disposition, and likes making fun of other people. he just has very strong and particular philosophies about battle and concepts of warrior code and stuff. he doesn't fight for the sake of justice, he fights for the sake of sheer violence, cuz he sees more philosophical value in the independent sort of thought that goes into that, rather than flowery ideals of justice and pacifism. he's kinda twisted if you get him going lol but not evil. just very strongly NEUTRAL morally, insistent on that self-defined brand of honor more than anything, if that makes sense. but I think shishi will enjoy sparring with Souji and it'll be a really familiar comfort having someone from a time period he was a lot more comfortable in himself back in the day. or at least that's my head canon haha. he doesn't seem uh particularly modern. so any kind of samurai or samurai-adjacent bonding will be great. swords are fun. we fight our friends. sounds about right.

i think they'll be able to get on well, he's one for affectionate teasing dynamics and souji's good for that vibe lol. and even if there's ever tension, shishi's good at playing nice when he wants to. but only then haha, basically the disposition of a cat lol
