hello!! i'm hei and this is an interest check/sign-up for a player plot i plan on running with a start date of late August or September. It will last however long it takes to reach its conclusion, so it has no set end date.

PREMISE

It's been a year since Eclipse rocked Lunatia with Glow, but there's unrest in the dark underworld again. Umbris underlings have been running into accidents here and there, ending with their deaths, and it's thought there is no connection between the accidents/mishaps. However, with Umbris seeing their bottomline numbers dwindle from mysterious acts, they're looking to investigate these cases. They don't want to disturb the relative peace between the crime groups and bring animosity toward their authority over the underground, so they resort to hiring third parties. This is where some small leaders in Umbris, given the responsibility of handling this issue, hire Moonblessed to take a look into it.

Their guess and findings lead them to a small, but slowly climbing crime group named Libration. Libration is mostly known for money laundering their drug deals/trafficked goods using their luxurious restaurant-bar chain as a guise. Sometimes, auctions are hosted there.

For characters that wouldn't interact with criminals, there will be a dragon caregiver asking to investigate a couple of missing dragons in the Kingdom of Lyestellus. It will lead to the same place!

Characters will be rewarded with a hefty amount of demichroma and a dragon fruit.

tldr

Umbris has noticed dwindling numbers in their bottomline. They're looking to hire Moonblessed to investigate.
The Kingdom of Lyestellus has noticed a small number of dragons have disappeared. They're looking for any help to find them.
Both the disappearances of Umbris goons and dragons point to a small crime group named Libration.

General violence, mentioned violence/abuse against animals (dragons), mentioned Prismal trafficking, mentioned murder, possibly murder, alcohol, drug usage/abuse, mentioned/possible drug experimentation, needles for tattooing.

WHAT CAN CHARACTERS DO IF I SIGN UP?

At the moment, I have some initial action items that will open other objectives in the future.

initial investigation

Characters can either investigate and question people on the streets of Level 3/4 or search for clues about the dragons' disappearances in the Kingdom of Lyestellus. They can learn about the missing cases, some info about the small crime group Libration, and unrest in the underground.

In the Kingdom of Lyestellus, there's an opportunity to catch a dragon smuggler and gain info about the purpose of these kidnappings.

Libration investigation

After gaining key info, they can visit Libration's facilities. Libration runs a luxurious restaurant-bar chain and there are several local laundromats affiliated with them. Eavesdropping in important conversations will solidify dissent toward Umbris and the nature of Libration's facilities.

From there, some objectives to follow can include:

infiltrating Libration itself, either feigning loyalty and going through their initiation ceremony or getting a job at their facilities.
learning more about Libration's leadership
capturing the leader and successors
rescuing the dragons

The future objectives and possible conclusions will be dependent and impacted by character actions and choices.

NOTE There will be opportunities to play with rune effects from a previous event, but it's tied to drug experimentation/usage. Overdose is possible, opening opportunities to play with any number of its consequences: 1) dragon transformation, 2) hyper-aggression, 3) memory loss (temporary to permanent, up to players), and 4) going into a catatonic state. Death is also a thing, yeah.

CHARACTER INVOLVEMENT: My character would be heavily engaged, but he doesn't need to be in every engagement. I would like my character to be present during the conclusion of the event.
PLANS, WISHES: Joonghyuk will most likely start with dragon investigation. I plan on having Yoo Joonghyuk infiltrate Libration by applying to one of their restaurants as a server, under disguise using his female transformation skill... HEHE. Also, I would like him to get beaten up. Thank you.

CHARACTER INVOLVEMENT: info gathering, dragon rescue and backing up any fights / taking care of any injuries people may get during the event.
PLANS, WISHES: Anduin's best friend is a dragon so the moment he hears dragons are going missing he's going to be getting involved. He's not the best at infiltration but he is charming enough to gather info from people and studious enough to keep digging so he'll do his best. Since he's also a healer he'll be happy to offer his services should violence break out in terms of healing and smiting until his chroma runs out.
