it's perfectly fine to not know much about the canon, since Louis would be happy to explain ahaha. and he'd love to hear about Sypha's adventures too! and yes... the edgy opening song that gets stuck in my head every now and then. it's so indulgent, I love it
Louis' fire magic is pretty basic as magic goes; by no means would he even think he could hold a candle to a true mage like Sypha... but I'm still totally open to having them spar! melee vs ranged could be interesting too :>
definitely, definitely would love to have study buddies. weekly meets or something where they just share what they've learned/ discuss prior knowledge? sign me up!!
