Welcome to Prismatica, a panfandom sex-friendly sci-fi/fantasy game for you to hopefully indulge in all of your RP needs. Here are some important things to keep track of this upcoming month and the beginning of next:

Our next event will start on July 24th, but you are free to backdate and backlog for as long as you need. The OOC plotting post will be going up on prismaticaooc on July 23rd!

We will not be making an official log for the event. Instead, we encourage others to post their top-levels or links to relevant network/log posts on the upcoming event post. However, we ask that you refrain from RPing on the OOC community. The event post will merely serve as a directory for all player posts related to the event. Please see last month's OOC event post for reference.

Whether or not you want to keep TDM threads canon is up to you! You may also handwave your character’s initial arrival so they can plunge directly into plot things if you wish.

Please look at our calendar for reference as to when moon cycles fall! Since it is something that will happen regularly, we will not have a log up for that, but your characters can react accordingly via the network or in their own logs if you wish. There might be times when the moonblessings overlap with events, so please keep that in mind. If you would like more information on the moonblessings, please read the moonblessing page. For any additional questions, feel free to drop us a line on the FAQ.

That's still awesome that you even have them. Most of my early works are stashed on computers so old I'm not sure they can start up anymore... like that 19 year old iMac from, like, 2001 or something. Even if they're cringe with the 20-20 vision of hindsight, those are treasures.

After experiencing the pains of losing files, I've developed a lifelong habit of never deleting anything, backing everything up, and always transferring over harddrive data whenever I get a new computer. I even still have some of my old notebooks from my preteen days before I'd gotten our first desktop. If nothing else it's fun to look back on your old stuff and see how far you've come!

Timezone & Availability: PST; i work 9-11 hour days usually monday through friday in the mornings and afternoons but i'm TYPICALLY free after that and on the weekends!
Interests: i'd be lying if i didn't say my life is 80% taken up by kpop, but i'm really invested in the untamed and old ass manga from my childhood as you can clearly see. i like webcomics, always looking for recs for those! aside from that i really care about hetalia, houseki no kuni and vintage shoujo/bl series.

About: a beautiful, (previously) rich idiot who loves to make people (especially fair maidens) happy. he's eccentric, obsessive and very extravagant in his personality. very annoying but also very genuine and well-meaning; tamaki tries to do anything for anyone.
Moonblessing: cordis, he's gonna be a butterfly called the variable beautymark; fitting non?
Desired CR: honestly i know it's tried and tired, but tamaki can literally be friends or have friction with ANYONE and i totally welcome that. i would love for him to find like-minded people willing to indulge his eccentricities, people not willing to fall for his charms and throw him for a loop, etc. fellow frenchies would be great so he can feel some nostalgia for home, as something more specific.
Future Plans: he's post anime canon and so kind of a blank slate with regards to purpose. it's going to be weird for him having to slum it like a commoner, and i'd love for him to get a job so he can have the full experience -- maybe he can even get fired!!! i'd love that tbh. he's also going to distract himself (as one does when they're emotionally vulnerable) by going all in on his investigation into not only common food and traditions, but common food and traditions...in space. also eventually wigging out because he loves having beautiful wings (once he gets over HAVING WINGS!!!), but will hate the grimier butterfly features he'll eventually get too.
Smut Preferences: tamaki will likely be a harder nut to crack (insert inappropriate joke here) in this area, being in love and very emotionally clueless. he's also a teen character, so feel free to comment on his permissions if you also play a fellow teen who might be down to get a little sexy eventually. m or f is fine; sometimes space hormones make YOU the homosexual side character.

Timezone & Availability: Eastern! i'm available sporadically throughout the day (provided work isn't too crazy) and through the night up until around 3 AM-ish. On weekends, i'm def more available throughout the day!
Interests: i like video games and animanga and creating art! i'm also learning some programming languages, though school is not in session right now, sobs. some video games i like are megaman x (obvs), final fantasy series, deadly premonition, halo, and a basically anything i can get on steam or epic games that seems interesting! for animanga, i like shounen garbage, BL garbage, horror garbage... i'm a bit behind on anime and manga so if you have any to rec, i'd love to hear it!

Canon: Megaman X! basically a game series about robots who kill each other, i'm sure you know the basic format. if not, i'm happy to go into detail!

About: a literal rebel pilot who loves chaos and mayhem. also ... kinda hates humans, whoops.
Moonblessing: Iris, because i'm mean and he's an asshole. traits will likely skew towards jellyfish traits (bio-luminescence, stinging of some kind, i'll figure that part out) and swan features (feathers, etc), maybe some rabbit features, too, who knows. i'm also not above making his life living hell with the heat/rut aspect, becuase like i said: i'm mean and he's an asshole.

Desired CR: okay, so, here's the deal: when i say he's an asshole, i mean it. he's gonna be way more challenging than my other character to get CR going, but i am here to WORK IT OUT. most of his CR will more than likely skew negatively, in one way or another, because VAVA is quite literally incapable/stunted in the empathy department. he doesn't really form friendships (at least not in the more common definition of the word), and he really does hate humans. since like, 90% of the game is human or human...shaped (elves, right?) he's probably gonna be hostile to most people.

but who cares about what he wants, right? i'm here to force him into as many situations as i can where VAVA is not able to storm off like the manchild he is. if your character is the cheery/goofy/comedic type, i will say that there's a high chance CR might not click at all, just fair warning. anyone with bite to them has a far better chance, as that stuff is what VAVA responds to best.

tl;dr: i'm here for it all. it'll likely all be negative, but i'm down for him having someone to dominate him while Iris is in effect. just PP/PM me and we can definitely hash something out if that interests you!
Future Plans: "growth" is a generous term to use... but anyway, i'd like to see him mellow out a little bit! he's always going to be snide and difficult, but having him reel in those instincts to be violent would be neat.
Smut Preferences: here's his kink list! it also answers a burning question i'm sure at least one person has, so please take a look if you're curious! i will say that i'd need to discuss smut with anyone before getting into it, because VAVA is not the gentle type. players who are comfortable with potential roughness and other such things during smut are more than welcome to hit me up! otherwise, i'm 100% here for it!

i'm super game for throwing characters together and seeing how they mesh, so count me in! jude is very much the type to keep her secrets close to her chest and hoard them like a dragon, so hopefully the murder part won't ever rear its head. :') she's mostly just kind of a wary, constantly on-guard mess.

she's stupid levels of brave, though, so i don't think she'd mind any gryffindor-ness.

i have a big soft spot in my heart for tithe!! kaye and roiben actually make appearances in the folk of the air series — there's even a brief kaye pov section that holly included — which made my heart warm and happy. i'm extremely biased (i wonder what gave me away...) but it's a fun and addicting read, and i would def suggest picking it up if you get the time and the chance

Welllll Malcolm's father happens to be a serial killer and he definitely doesn't share that information with many people, so secrets are definitely a thing with him as well.

And he's the type who runs into danger with zero thought to his own self-preservation, so the two of them might actually get along pretty well.
