On the evening of 24th, the twilight sky of Lunatia turns blood red. What looks like a star shines so brightly in the horizon that you avert your eyes. Familiar trumpets resound all over the city, but you don't need to look up to know who is here. Looming over the citizens of Lunatia is the masked seraphim, King Majestas.
Television channels and communication devices all over the planet are magically tuned in to his arrival whether they like it or not, and cutting off the power supply does nothing to prevent you from gazing upon his heavenly visage. Though his face is hidden behind his lion mask, his presence commands all to look upon him.
King MajestasTwelve moons ago, the gods blessed my feeble form once again with the energy I thought I would never have again: Chroma. Every day, I savored it with the delight of a starving man. But a king does not crawl on all fours for scraps. I searched for a land that would satisfy my — nay, our hunger.
I found a most succulent feast in Port Sylvel. Yes, their Chroma was exquisite. Rejoice, for their lives have finally served a most noble purpose!
Our hearts beat once again with the vigor of ages past! It is with great honor that I resume what was left unfinished all those centuries ago. Lunatia, no, all of Prismatica will pay for their sin of pride. Prismals think themselves gods but I, the Prideful King Majestas, shall put them in their rightful place!

A blindfolded Magister Scientiae Alcmene manages to intercept Majestas’s broadcast by midnight. A heavily wounded Captain Natela of the Moon Knights reports that Majestas has breached the royal palace. True enough, Majestas himself soon emerges from the castle with what seems to be a young woman struggling and slowly crystallizing away as Majestas drains her of her Chroma...
It is Queen Elara. As the Moon Knights pursue her, Majestas brings her to the top of Caelus Tower, where all the Chroma of the city has converged, and commands the captured queen to revive his beloved with her power. It is time for the Beasts of the Calamity to show the planet their glory. Together, they shall claim Lunatia and its Chroma for their Goddess. Though Elara protests, she relents out of fear for the safety of the Moonblessed and her people, especially as more of the Moon Knights fall. Using the tower's orb of light, she begins the reviving ritual, ignoring the crystallization that has already encased her limbs...
The race to the tower won’t be easy. The trumpets sound once more, and all those affected from Part I grow wings like their seraphic master, a familiar sight to those who witnessed the king’s revival. With their superhuman strength and otherworldly fire magic, they attack both Prismals and Moonblessed. Joining them are Majestas’s army of winged lions and crystal lion golems. Their numbers overwhelm the Moon Knights and even the most powerful Moonblessed.
When Lunatia’s chances of winning look slim, the Lunar Scientia finishes analyzing Majestas’s magic and releases protective seals. After the tragedy of Port Sylvel, the Lunar Scientia has since collaborated with the Lyestellus Kingdom to defeat Majestas. The seals are carefully crafted from a Dracofoot leaf and able to be imbued with a fragment of the user’s humility using their Chroma.
Slap these seals on those affected and they will be freed from Majestas’s spell, no matter the stage of their control. The seals can also be worn as protection against any possession. Moonlacing is the easiest and fastest way to enchant the seals with Chroma. Channeling your own Chroma alone is possible, but will significantly drain you afterward. Use the seals to counter the Prideful King’s magic! That big ole birdbrain hates it when you do that.
As more and more Prismals and Moonblessed are reclaimed from Majestas’s possession, the Prideful King grows weaker and weaker as a result of the countering Chroma influx. The defensive magic that protects his minions weakens along with him. Moonlace with your fellow Moonblessed to power up and give him and his army a piece of your mind!

As the sun sets, a resounding roar of rage and agony shakes Lunatia. It is Majestas in his final moments, his sorrow hidden behind his lion mask. Perhaps he should have waited until he could use Basti’s power, but he couldn’t let the Beast take all the glory twice. He laughs to himself. In the end, his arrogance was his downfall. But that doesn’t matter anymore.
The ritual is complete. His beloved can live once again, and she will soon fulfill their duty to the Goddess in his place… Majestas has dissipated into Chroma, which now powers the business-as-usual Lunatia.
A day after the invasion, Lunatia redirects their efforts toward clean up duties and recovery. Hospitals and the local government are currently recruiting volunteers! Like many other Prismals and Moon Knights injured during the invasion, Queen Elara is currently hospitalized. Until her condition stabilizes, no one is able to reach her at this time. Until she wakes up, there are wounds to tend to, gardens to be replanted, debris to be cleared away, and buildings to be repaired.
Although the Moonblessed were essential in the fight against Majestas, some extremists feel that the Moonblessed caused more harm than good by inadvertently reviving Majestas in the first place. Anti-Moonblessed sentiments fill hashtags on social media (some by trolls and some by spam accounts) and graffiti in Level 3 and 4. However, the majority of the population and the government continues to support the Moonblessed, sending them messages of encouragement and continuing to reward them for their efforts.
A certain Moon Knight also remains by their side!

We went to Port Sylvel to assess its situation after King Majestas passed. The crystal lions are gone, so it’s safe for civilians to visit again. My daughter and I were able to visit the grave of my wife.
Hala was crying because she thought the Sylbelian flowers were gone, but the fields weren’t crystallized! Praise the Moons, the lands around the port seem to have normalized. But I’ll leave the detailed explanation to Lunar Scientia.
You’ll stay safe, won’t you Moonblessed? Don’t listen to those trolls online. My colleagues and I don’t blame any of you for what happened. After all that you’ve done for us, Lunatia has many to thank you for. No matter what anyone else says, I will be by your side!

A Victims see an illusion created from their memories, which Majestas twists to fit his own needs. The victims are forced to gaze at their past sins and mistakes that no one else can see, showing them how small and pitiful they are. They will feel that there is no point in their struggle. They will always be tainted. The only way to salvation is through Her.
Those who succumb to the despair fall into a trance-like state, their eyes as bright and hollow as the starry night sky. As their bodies stand still, they repeat the words:
EVERY EYE SHALL SEE THEM.
Conversation is impossible. All they will say is,

Nothing you can say or do will ever reach them.
If you are unaffected, touching the victims will instantly overwhelm you with a barrage of voices in your head. You are forced into a shared trance with the victim to witness how foolish they are.
B Victims see a dream created from their desires, which Majestas twists to fit his own needs. In this dream, the victims are showered with compliments and exalted for their achievements (however paltry), filling them with a sense of (perhaps unfounded) pride. They feel it is because of Her that they are so blessed. Everyone who does not worship Her is beneath them.
Once the victims awake from their sudden slumber, their hair grows as thick and long as a lion’s mane as they begin to act with what one can call confidence at best, arrogance at worst. They will do anything to feel superior to others and step all over them. They might also, in their arrogance, begin to be more reckless in their endeavors. Crimes grow rampant as many believe themselves to be above the law.
Those with this particular affliction are beyond hope, for stupidity is impossible to cure.

Log Plans: I'm going to be putting together a catch-all log in a bit! My only concrete plans right now are a fight between Cloud, Raven & Weiss leading to the event's climax, and Cloud might be winding up in the hospital to recover. We'll see who he tangos with & how protag'ing the Lion King goes. LOL
Trance Troubles: Cloud's getting lucky for this event and not getting put in a trance!
One time as a puppet was enough.Something'll seem really screwy to him (but seeing Majestas will bring warning bells). He'll turn off the broadcast just in time instinctively before he can be put under the spell. I'm up for him having to deal with people who are influenced. Especially sharing the trance if we wanna go into dreams/memories until Cloud snaps out of it. I'M FLEXIBLE HERE! c:Possession, Protective Seals & vs. Majestas: Cloud's going to be fighting on the front lines in the hopes of taking down King Majestas with everyone else. He'll also be available for fighting against winged lions and crystal lion golems! If anyone starts crystallizing, I'm up for Cloud moonlacing with them to help them out. Hand holds & hugs are the minimum for non-CR most likely, unless more dire circumstances. I wouldn't be opposed to Cloud potentially getting hit by a crystal lion and having to be saved via Moonlacing too! Come at him.
Cloud'll be saving Weiss from her trance, but I'm up for having more seals for other people that need rescuing too! Cloud can charge it by himself (and sap himself...dummy), or share fuelling it with someone else (smart boy).
If he makes it that far, Cloud's also gonna wanna throw down with the king once his defences are weakened! So I'm up for team-ups there, and even getting roughed up a bit on the way to helping the Moonblessed net the win.
Other/Aftermath:
We'll see how plotting goes, but chances are Cloud's landing himself in the hospital (unless he gets deus ex healed/moonlaced on the spot or something or other. maybe he needs to get his Chroma stabilized after all the fighting). So. Visits if you want! He'll want out. >:T
Don't have anything concrete for handling the trolls saying "fuck dem moonblessed" yet. But. That's about it! If you have any more questions, let me know! I'm pretty flexible. I'm quarantined/out of work for one more week minimum, and do school from home so I've got more time to play with. I'll also do some tagouts too!

Though when it comes to his healing his chroma is usually low all the time, thanks phobia, so he won't be able to fully heal him without some moonlacing.
