▶ PLOTTING.010
The planet continues to struggle, but life in Lunatia goes on. In an effort to boost awareness and encourage study of Lunatian culture and tradition, the Office of the Magister Scientiae has declared that the previously sealed Lunatian Archives shall be open to the public for the first time. A popular subject for photographers, the Lunatian Archives is famous for its minimalist architecture: a floating white cube whose walls perfectly reflect the Iris moon’s light.

The whole city is abuzz as they anticipate the exciting coverage of this historical milestone. This year’s theme for the inaugural exhibit, the Coiled Hearts Festival, has many Lunatians excited. The promotions promise an unforgettable date for you and your loved one like no other, complete with scintillating artifacts from Amegahara, Dystelle and beyond.
In order to accommodate the expected crowds, the entire building is being refurbished and spruced up. As a result, a number of temporary job openings are available. For those looking for quick and easy Demichroma, this is your chance!

It’s opening night, and eager crowds are gathered at the Lunatian Archives. Tickets for the affair are noticeably discounted for couples, so be sure to grab a date for the venue.
An open bar at the lobby is serving Mollusc Milk shots, which may have may or not come from your fellow Moonblessed volunteers. Old world manuscripts and tapestries depicting various beasts and legendary battles from after the Calamity are proudly displayed in several exhibit halls. Remember: you can look, but you can’t touch! Moonblessed can also volunteer to keep an eye out for visitors who break this rule. Those who help will be given Demichroma and a gift: one delicious artisan cupcake.
As you tour the archives, you once again hear the rolling sounds of the ocean beneath the soft, classical music. At times, you swear you feel something long and slimy sweeping across your skin. The absence of marks tells you it’s your imagination, but you’re not so sure...

Over the past few days, these have been the top hashtags and howls on Prismagram and Howler: #LunatiaUnsolved, #StatuesThatCanEatMyAss, and “how come no one told me the ghost of the lunatian archives was thicc af 😱😍 we stan one fierce queen”. Someone’s Prismagram post went viral after they shared footage of the statue of a beautiful warrior moving around the exhibition hall — the same one in the Legend of the Fisherman’s Wife. This video clip has become such a hot topic that it has made the local headlines. The Lunatian Archives’s press release states that no statue in the museum has budged at all. The museum’s archivists and attendants all swear they saw nothing, but many remain skeptical.
In response to the public, the museum cooperates with the Moon Knights to tighten their security measures over the statue. The efforts will be in vain — by the end of the month, the cursed statue will vanish entirely, forcing the Lunatian Archives to admit the truth: they had hoped to finish their own investigation and resolve the issue before the matter escalated, but failed to contain the statue. Hefty rewards will be offered by the Lunatian Archives to uncover the mystery of the precious artifact and recover it in mint condition.
Be careful at night and don’t leave your windows open. Wherever you are, the living statue may pay you a visit, announcing herself as Osse, the Viergean Sentinel of Queen Tempeste. Blinded by madness in her search for her lost lover, she unhinges her jaw and cries loud enough to temporarily stun anybody who has even the slightest resemblance of that certain someone she longed for all those centuries ago...
As the water level rises with each of Osse’s encounters, creating flooded streets and apartments all over, the Lunar Scientiae rush to capture the statue and deactivate it with their technology. The following morning, as Prismals and Moonblessed alike clean up the mess Osse left in her wake, Lunatians tuning into their radios and televisions might catch Magister Scientae Alcmene being interviewed on the city’s most popular news station:
Magister Scientiae Alcmene
—was about to go on a tangent about the copulation of taurus octopi there. Thank you, Karen.
Yes, what we initially believed to be a lifeless statue was in fact a creation of the ancient Prismals of Vierge — a precursor to the modern robots all over Lunatia now powered by Chroma. Osse hasn't been active since the Calamity. Now she's been brought to life by the overflow of Chroma from the Moonblessed, which begs the question: what is the true nature of the legend of the Coiled Hearts?
Anyway, it’s fascinating what the Moonblessed can do; this is what I've been saying for the past year now, really. I do believe they are the answer to saving our planet—
The Osse is back on display with her fisherman lover, who is now caressing her face, and the two of them look happier than ever.

A A set of holographic boards at the front desk lists several available tasks. Simply tap a task to register! Some simpler activities include preparing the rest areas with refreshments and romantic canapes, as well as decorating each floor of the building. Turn it into a place that can make your heart skip a beat!
You can also register for desk jobs, such as taking inventory of the collection or designing and printing out brochures and posters. Some of the more laborious jobs include moving humongous exhibits. Please handle these with care! And watch out: carrying the stone statues invite a mysterious force that tickles you until you put them down.
You’ll also re-encounter your formidable archnemesis, the horned taurus octopi. Much to your chagrin, one of the tasks is to wrestle them and other fish into the gigantic tanks on display. Remember to moonlace and bring an extra set of clothes!
B The key artifact for the exhibit is a well-preserved stone statue that was retrieved from The Glory. A beautiful young man lies bridal-style in the mighty embrace of a handsome half-octopus woman in armor. This treasured ancient statue is thought to be the first ever depiction of the Legend of the Fisherman’s Wife. Some historians argue this isn’t a mere depiction, but a statue created in the true likeness of the legendary couple. Conspiracy theorists take that claim a step further: the statue is the actual couple petrified in their final, sorrowful moment together.
With the strange rumors going around, the conspiracy is difficult to ignore. Both staff and visitors say that the stone couple’s eyes stare pointedly at those who do not show affection to their loved ones. True enough, as you’re directed to clean and polish the statue, you notice something odd. Though the room should be silent, you will hear the waves of the ocean nearby. Then out of nowhere, it will feel as if a strong tide is crashing against you, pushing you against another Moonblessed’s bewildered body as you try to work. There is no tide, of course, but the salty smell on your skin makes you wonder.

A One of the more popular exhibits is the Hall of Lovers, a series of aquarium tunnels fortified with Demichroma. The tunnel forks into two: one is for friends and the other is for couples. If your character is below eighteen, the museum staff will usher you into the first tunnel with no exceptions — the second tunnel is not family-friendly! In the second tunnel, a gentle mist sprayed through the vents contains a very light aphrodisiac to put you and a friend in the mood.
No matter the path you take, you can watch the performance of dancing robots depicting the courtship of ancient Lunatian couples in the waters.
You soon come across a particular pair of lovers floating about: a merman prince embracing his drowning pirate paramour. If you stare long enough, you may notice them mimicking your actions with a partner. If you hold hands with one another, they hold hands; if you kiss, they kiss. But if you’re bold enough to do something a little more to your partner that they find appealing, they begin to clap and cheer you on. Were these even robots to begin with?
B In a corner of the Chamakshala wing, there is a carved limestone panel depicting the joyous marriage of two regal monkey gods. As you pass by, voices from the panel suddenly ask you and your friends to crack a good joke or entertain them with humorous banter to honor the occasion. Succeed and a banana will appear in your hands.
You may be wondering if the banana is special or will bring you good fortune. It is not. It’s just a banana.
Be sure to eat the banana in front of them and express your gratitude, or they will take offense and rain a hundred rotten bananas on you! Once they are done with you, they will send you on your way with a strange, echoing warning: beware the virgin warrior, beware the virgin warrior…
They might keep giving you bananas out of nowhere for the rest of the day because it amuses them. If you honored their request, the bananas will be perfectly ripe, while those who disrespected them will receive rotten ones.

A While under the effect of her scream, she may mistake you for her lover and try to coddle you to her chest with her arms and tentacles. If you rebuke her, she will start crying loudly and surround you in a large tear-shaped orb that will slowly start to fill with water as she weeps and drown you (yes, she can even drown aquatic types and people who can breathe underwater). Flattering her will slow down the process enough for you to escape the weakened orb walls, but it will shatter more quickly if another Mooblessed proclaims their affection for you — even if it’s faked.
B If you respond positively to her embrace, she will gift you with a siren’s tail and gills, though for what purpose will become clear when she starts to rampantly flood large parts of Levels 2 and 3, creating free-flowing pools with her abilities. The water has the same properties as her tears. Fortunately, with the gift bestowed upon you, you may swim to and save others by kissing them, allowing them to transform for survival. The transformation will wear off after an hour, so hurry. Civilians and Moonblessed alike need your help!
As the water level rises with each of Osse’s encounters, creating flooded streets and apartments all over, the Lunar Scientiae rush to capture the statue and deactivate it with their technology. OSSE ▶ You can find Osse (or rather, Osse can find you) anywhere in Lunatia. She is indestructible; nothing can harm or destroy her. She speaks like a robot, regurgitating the same set phrases whenever she fights or holds someone in her embrace.

Rey | OC.
Contact: Plurk (
Character: Rey |
Moonblessing: Sanguis.
Smut Preferences: I do have a kink list here, though I don't foresee Rey smutting it up yet.
Log Plans:
I'll add some extra prompts to the open log I posted earlier this month, but a few things I'd really love to do:
- Rey has massive issues with showing affection, so she'll probably be subjected to the stone couple's judgemental stares after she attempts a few odd jobs for the sweet Demichroma cheddar. More likely to be weirded out because one of her previous lives has died via drowning so the tidal sensations won't be very welcome.
- Going babanas: Rey might get curious even though she doesn't have a date (unless someone is interested), so she'll be ambivalent towards the Hall of Lovers stuff... but not that bar.
- I do want her to run into the monkey gods because she's so going to take the "beware the virgin warrior" as a personal jab. Rude.
- Down Where It’s Wetter: Definitely want her encountering Osse (whether she's in some random hobo alley or crashing on someone else's couch - let me know!), though she won't be responding super positively so... help? She really doesn't feel like drowning again, and will want to help others afterwards.
- Other than that, I'd like for her to reconnect with previous CR and develop some new ones.

Edit: And now I've got the prompts up over here (linked to the second half of my catch-all post this month) if those work for you!
