As Firialia approaches, the snow in the city starts piling up to a troublesome degree, at times blocking entrance ways. The weather forecast warns of coming hailstorms; a flurry of repeated blizzards are expected to hit Lunatia on the 23rd and will last until the 27th. Lunatia will be plunged into temperatures well below zero degrees throughout the month resulting from the strength of the upcoming blizzards.
People might find themselves stuck inside buildings for hours — days, even — before the Swiffy bots clear the snow on their block. The power will flicker often, rendering heating systems useless against the cold. This is because of machines either freezing up or are damaged by the hail, sensors as well as signals being buried by excessive snow, and lonely drunk technicians unknowingly committing mistakes while grumbling about being dateless.
In order to fully enjoy their holiday, most citizens decide to pack up and spend their vacation in Nevei Forest, a nearby resort town that is considered one of the most popular winter destinations. Those who remain in the city will need to bundle up to survive the harsh weather. Don't worry about being left behind; it is never too late to head to Nevei if you decide to escape the hailstorms.

Historically, Nevei Forest used to be a safe haven for Prismals long ago. Although it has become a tourist spot in recent years, it never turns a weary traveler away from its gates. Nevei is located inside a monolithic greenhouse, surrounded by warm lights within. Inside, there is no vicious frostbite to fear. The temperature within is perfectly controlled to maintain a comfortable winter wonderland!
Throughout the enclosed resort town, there are multiple villas often rented out to families and couples in search of the perfect winter getaway. These villas offer many luxurious accommodations and amenities, such as winter markets, all-you-can-eat buffets, nightclubs, karaoke bars, live theater performances, and all the holiday goodness you can imagine.

By this week, Firilia celebrations are in full swing. Evergreen wreaths decorate every door, vibrant tinsel hang from lamps and pillars, and familiar antlers loom over the most innocuous of places. At their villas, Prismals prepare their gifts, and children frolic in the winter wonderland as they throw snow at one another.
Every evening, the Nevei choir sings at the town center to spread cheer and invite the public to the upcoming Firialia Eve Ball. It will be held on the 24th, right here at the town center, and formal attire is a must. Those who attend can enjoy a night of cocktails, entertainment, and firework displays. The ball is the perfect night to either spend in the arms of a loved one or drown your sorrows in quality liquor because you’re alone. So very, very alone.
Aside from the Nevei choir, a full orchestra and theatre troupe will also be present. However, the main stars of the show are Lunatia’s singing enchantress Ayla, and Queen Elara herself who will be performing the “Dance of the Cascading Snowflakes.” Its mesmerizing choreography features illusions of glistening white snowflakes softly falling like petals onto the crowd.

Celebrations of Firialia Eve slow down for the night and people return to their villas to tuck themselves into bed. Sometime after the lights are out, you hear the sound of hooves plodding along the rooftop. Is it a burglar, a drunk neighbor, or — gasp — Firi? Those who climb up in time might be able to catch a glimpse of a silhouette with flowing golden hair, flying across the skyway with a trail of prismatic sparkles.
If you placed a crystal tree in your villa, then you will find a mysterious wrapped present with your name underneath it. Inside, you will find one Dimensional Orb! Happy Firialia!
When the morning comes, many excited Lunatians leave their villas early to make the most of their remaining holiday in Nevei Forest.

While many Lunatians will be spending their vacation in Nevei, a number of them will also remain in Lunatia as a necessity for their jobs, such as the Moon Knights, hospital staff, or those lonely technicians mentioned in the log.
Arctic geese from Prompt I-B cannot be taken out of Nevei as they will refuse to leave their home ground.
You may pick and choose the active effects of the fairy dust in Prompt II-A. For example, you do not have to be palm-sized if you prefer not to be.
For the festive nuts in Prompt II-B, only canon powers and talents can be accessed. Any nerfed or blocked abilities will remain as is. You may only choose one power or talent. (Examples: dancing skills, swimming skills, math skills, cooking knowledge, healing magic, night vision, a talent for always arriving late, or flipping pens with your thumb.)
Festive nuts cannot be stocked or taken home. They will all be eaten by the end of the event!

A Tourists in Nevei often rent a villa. These villas come in many styles and sizes — some rustic, some modern — it’s all up to you and your friends to pick one out! The bigger the unit, the bigger the price. Every unit is properly furnished and comes with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay.
There is no room service, so tourists either head out to eat together or prepare their own meals during their stay. Holding pot luck dinners with their family and friends at Nevei is a long-standing tradition, so why not do the same?
B Nevei’s entire boundary is a quaint nature trek, the surrounding forest filled with towering crystalline trees. It's the perfect place to find a crystal tree with your loved ones for your villa, as per Lunatia custom. If you are interested, the necessary equipment can be rented from nearby ranger stations. Make sure you have a buddy system so you don't get lost and freeze out there!
One of the many animal species inhabiting this forest is the arctic goose. These geese are intelligent, vigilant, and protective of their pack. If anyone wanders too far into their forest, they will take advantage of their glacial surroundings to attack! Rumors say a bandit was once chased out by a giant goose-made snowball. According to the locals, you can earn their favor by building them a magnificent snow goose to befriend them. However, if they are not impressed, they will make sure you know it.

A For one of the theatre performances about a fairy and a soldier, a couple of actors dance their way to the audience, their smiles twinkling before shortly blowing a bit of fairy dust in their direction. Those hit by the dust will shrink enough to fit in a Prismal's palm, earn pointed ears and magically obtain a pair of fairy wings. Their skin will shimmer in the light and they will gain a faint glow around their body. Effects will naturally wear off after an hour, upon which the affected target will grow back to their normal size sans clothing. Oops. Thankfully, the effects can be dispelled instantly by moonlacing.
B An inviting table filled with kitchen nutcrackers adorably shaped like deer soldiers sits next to the liquor bar. At the center of this table is a large bowl filled to the brim with an assortment of nuts that come in dangling pairs, tied together with a festive ribbon. Prismals in cocktail suits work behind the bar toasting or roasting nuts, their fragrant aroma wafting across the room. The suited Prismals can whip up customized drinks with their show-worthy bartender skills, or make you other finger foods if you’re allergic to nuts.
The bartenders will also educate any confused Moonblessed about Nevei's culture, specifically about the origin of these festive nuts. You are meant to share and crack open a nut for someone to receive good blessings next year. Eating them alone will meanwhile attract bad luck! Upon consuming a delicious nut from someone, you will receive temporary access to ONE of that person’s canon powers or talents for a maximum of 24 hours. Eating another will overwrite the previously inherited power or talent.

A A large, outdoor skating rink is available for those interested in ice skating. Skates can be rented for a reasonable price for a single pair. It’s discounted if you rent two pairs with someone special! Prismal instructors are available to guide you in the art of ice skating. Many young couples can be seen waltzing together to the music.
As you play around the rink, you may notice sections of ice haphazardly cracking beneath your blades. A number of naughty sapphire koi are known to get aggressive and rowdy during their mating season, causing them to bump against the ice. Locals advise all to be vigilant about avoiding thin ice as these may break under enough pressure.
For thrill-seekers, an icy obstacle course is available right next to the rink, known for its rollercoaster-like experience. A bright warning sign marks its starting point. Many local skaters leave their colorful testimonies on a board near the sign. One message reads, “My friend pushed me down here as a joke. They’re no longer my friend.” If you enjoyed your adventure, leave a note on the board!
B On a high hill, a lovely cable car dine-in can be ridden with your date, offering the most memorable views in Nevei and a gourmet menu carefully put together. Particular dishes can only be ordered by those 18+ because of their aphrodisiac contents. Not to worry, there’s a little something for everyone on the menu!
Inside each cable car, comfortable sofa bedding encircles the food table. Despite how it looks, the entire structure is strengthened and solid enough to carry the heaviest weights. The cables themselves will need more than a welding torch to break down. The ride lasts for a while, purposely moving at a slow pace to set the mood and allow the guests to take their time. For the sake of privacy, there is no camera service available, so guests will have to shoot their own videos and photos.

Smut Preferences: Lovecraft has literally no preferences, but from an OOC perspective if it's smut I'd prefer he only have adult partners since he's physically 28. He's largely indifferent when mooncycles aren't happening, but he can be persuaded. Gen moonlacing is also fine! He likes that.
Log Plans:
- Lovecraft is capable of sleeping just about anywhere, so he would be fine with being stuck at home during a blizzard, but he'll be coaxed (or dragged along) to come to Nevei by Steinbeck (
- Getting him to go to the ball is going to be a...task, but if anyone wants to try to get him to go, I am all for it. He'll be a huge wallflower though, and not exactly eager to share whatever nuts he nibbles on. Do you really want the powers of an Eldritch monster, anyway...?
- He will visit the skating rink, but not to actually skate. Enjoy him trying to make holes in the ice to examine the koi......
- I'd love for him to do a cable car ride too, either with CR or a stranger because let's be real, he would totally wander onto one by accident. At least he's a good listener during conversations...?

Wallflower convos tend to be some of the best, so I would be up for them running into each other at the ball. And I'm open to the idea of Poe getting Lovecraft's powers! Hopefully you like being super tired from maintaining that existence though, Poe. :')

Both of these things work for me. They could definitely happen in succession.
He's going to be far too eager to have that experience and Will Get Rekt by it. Meanwhile maybe Lovecraft can get an idea of what being totally normal feels like because Poe got the full nerf.
Or he just gets to be 1 of only 2 people who know he's defenseless now. Either or :^)
