Welcome to Prismatica, a panfandom sex-friendly sci-fi/fantasy game for you to hopefully indulge in all of your RP needs. Here are some important things to keep track of this upcoming month and the beginning of next:

Our next event will start on December 18th - a little earlier than normal, but you are free to backdate and backlog for as long as you need. The OOC plotting post will be going up on prismaticaooc on the same day!

We will not be making an official log for the event. Instead, we encourage others to post their top-levels or links to relevant network/log posts on the upcoming event post. However, we ask that you refrain from RPing on the OOC community. The event post will merely serve as a directory for all player posts related to the event. Please see last month's OOC event post for reference.

Whether or not you want to keep TDM threads canon is up to you! You may also handwave your character’s initial arrival so they can plunge directly into plot things if you wish.

Please look at our calendar for reference as to when moon cycles fall! Since it is something that will happen regularly, we will not have a log up for that, but your characters can react accordingly via the network or in their own logs if you wish. There might be times when the moonblessings overlap with events, so please keep that in mind. If you would like more information on the moonblessings, please read the moonblessing page. For any additional questions, feel free to drop us a line on the FAQ.

All the family moonlacing I am sorry your brother is a little broken, Wangji. But that might make hugging him easier?

... there is nothing wrong with the Lan name here, gosh. Also they have laundry machines and wonderful detergents. Even Xichen hasn't had major clothes-washing incidents.

(Also, currently Xichen is living with mdzs Wangji, mdzs WWX, Lan Sizhui, Lan Jingyi, and I am pretty sure Ouyang Zizhen in a larger house, not sure about Untamed WWX, so living arrangements will be interesting...)

Actually, I think you can machine wash some silk? idk man, I'm not posh. I'll look into it, lmf. The state of Lan dressing affairs is of utmost importance.

I have stupidly not given thought to living arrangements yet — my instinct would be to say he'd stick with Xichen because (emo)broooooooooooo, but that's a fairly big household already and it might not be quiet enough. Will see!

Also lmf ADVANCE APOLOGIES I am new to the series and have pretty much no fandom exposure, so sometimes I get lost in the name abbreviations orz. If I end up asking you to clarify at some point, please forgive!

This is a semi magical world, they manage. (Also. Xichen arrived with Jin Guangyao's blood on his robes, I was merciful and gave him a spare change.) But yes, their clothes are very delicate but let's handwave that they survive. (In the novel, after the Cloud Recesses were burned and Lan Xichen was on the run, Meng Yao took him in and hid him. Xichen tried to help out with chores, but the Lan arm strength meant that he would tear clothes up so Meng Yao did the laundry, too. Since the drama doesn't actually say it didn't happen, I'm vaguely keeping it.)

/Nods Sizhui suggests noise cancelling headphones because the married couple can get rather loud. But they also probably have soundproofing because music practice... But if not, Xichen might move with Wangji to a nearby place so they can still spend time together but also have quiet. Novel Wangji was justifiably worried that Xichen might hole himself up though, since secluded meditation is what his elder brother did post Guanyin temple. And that's dangerous here...

Ask away at any time! I'll unhelpfully link these two things but also add that mdzs is abbreviated for mo dao zu shi, the name of the novel. Cql, from chen qing ling, is a name for the Untamed. (We just get very used to writing everyone's name a lot, and then writing two or three letters is faster...)

We can defo figure out living arrangements in the future! I don't want to disrupt anyone's plans, so happy with whatever you're happy with!

Basically, yes. Listen, he's a decent sect leader and a good person (with some bad judgment sometimes), a strong cultivator and fighter... he can't be actually perfect? Or something.

/nodnods just something to consider as you end up threading with people, it's absolutely no rush to figure out.

They haaad to be shared! But mostly it's a matter of abbreviating each charter/syllable in pinyin. WWX = Wei Wuxian, LWJ = Lan Wangji, etc. But yes if you end up having questions, just shoot and I'll do my best. (Also, my plurk is public at kikibug13, you can wander there whenever.)

Awesome! You play the two characters Wangji is most interested in helicopter momming, so I will be all about dutifully bringing chaos into your RP life. But it's okay, because look: a bunny.

HOW THE TABLES TURN WITH WANGJI MOMMING HIS OLDER BROTHER but yeah. And getting that story out of the cast should be fun.

OH BY THE WAY Sizhui turns into an actual bunny for the Iris moon (but not three moons) except he keeps his human speech and his cultivation. So I've decided if he has to go somewhere, he flies on his sword.

Because he'd rather not worry Hanguang-Jun??
