Welcome to Plant Heaven may I take your order
Heyo, everyone! Boy do I have an ooc post for you.
Basically, at the start of next month, I'm going to be running an event that doubles as an action-y mingle post! This post is meant to serve as a plotting post for people who are interested in playing in it, for any questions to be asked before the event rolls around, that sort of thing.
The event will pretty much be Pucci Goes Postal, and there's plenty of joy on this board. There are three roles that Moonblessed are welcome to take up: Plant Fodder, Rescuers, and Bystanders generally witnessing some pretty ugly body horror/trying to figure out who's responsible for the mess. If we don't get enough Plant Fodder players, don't worry; there'll be plenty of Prismal NPCs getting busted up too, so just have fun playing the role that you want to!
Essentially, Pucci's going to anonymously organise a party. I'm not going to post advertising the party itself to spare overloading everyone (including myself), but you're welcome to have your character hear about it via word of mouth, advertising both on the network and with flyers in the streets of Lunatia, whatever reasoning you can come up with. This party is going to be really, really great! Champagne, catering, the lot. It's for 'celebrating the Moonblessed' as a front, but really?
Pucci's going to use it to sap people and turn them into fodder for one of his precious items, DIO's Bone. He needs souls to feed it, see? 36 souls of sinners, to be precise, but quantity will work over quality in a pinch. So, during the party (wherein he'll be disguised as a young lady only a few choice people might recognise), he's going to use his stand to turn the party into an illusion and start...Essentially trapping and dissolving people with a white gunk that acts as digestive acid. This takes a lot of chroma, but he has his own battery, no big deal. While this is happening and our Plant Fodder are ensnared and weakened, DIO's Bone is going to go around and turn them into plants. Like this! So naturally, this is only going to happen to folks who want to have their characters turned into plant people for a little hurt/comfort, and other characters are welcome to react to their friends being turned into mush.
Or rescuing them via moonlacing! That's where the Rescuers come in; Pucci's illusions aren't actually all that hard to break, if you start noticing little reality glitches and whatnot. So Rescuers can either break free of the illusion or simply come into the party a little too late and panic at all this white gunk everywhere; the point is that they're going to have to work out just how to free people from that horrifying vegetative state.
Unfortunately, it's not enough to keep the Bone from progressing to its next developmental stage; one of the Plant Fodder folks is going to end up with a large, translucent green orb embedded in them, housing a faintly visible green infant. Nor is there any killing it off, I'm afraid; that weird green egg is going to hatch, and that lovely little blonde girl from earlier who was hanging off Diego Brando's arm? Is going to promptly turn into Beloved Community Priest Enrico Pucci, pick the baby up and do a runner with it, Diego in tow. Thankfully for everyone in Prismatica, the Moon Knights have been called, and you're entirely welcome to witness Pucci get tasered and taken to Gay Baby Jail in the Lightless. Forever! This is his final hurrah, unfortunately.
I really just want everyone to have a horrible great time while Pucci tries his best to turn Diego into the new God, build CR new and old, get some body horror on, and deal with the fallout of that perfectly nice priest with the fat ass actually being prepared to kill indiscriminately to get what he wants.
