If Yusuke were to read a book about the fox illusions as mentioned, would he be able to learn any new spells besides the spell to allow private conversation and the dexterity spell?

Also is it safe to assume most, if not all of the artwork in Amegahara is glass or are there some variations in art form? Is there any artwork that dates around the time of the Calamity or pre-Calamity?
