I was definitely thinking the same thing myself! He's a bit stubborn, but I think Perne could talk Frederick into at least taking care of himself. And he'd be willing to volunteer for being either a diver or a dreamer! So if Perne would want to either dream, or protect him, both would be fine with me too!
