i kinda overloaded myself with power swaps so unforch i'll have to pass on the first half!

the second half, though... encouragement, or at least, some engagement, would definitely be what he needs to get even mildly interested in collecting shards and artifacts. i can't guarantee his attention will be focused on it 200% either with the way he is ( moody ) and the runes ( distracting ), but that could be fun it itself.
