Shino is happy to see family (morose because he isn't with family), so that would be fine as a lead in tbh, it's what he misses and he'd have a rare showing it on his face when the one thing he tamps down on allowing anyone to see is his loneliness for his family, so! Seeing them would be nice since it's been long enough that a daydream about it would be a happy kind of bittersweet. Seeing someone else's daydream after would be a mark of curiosity, and Shino being open to talk about his daydream (and why it's a daydream at all)
