It definitely could be interesting for this to happen - Rita could have an interesting challenge calming Pidonus down, for sure. On the other hand, dark magics like what Pidonus would be doing during this (it's not exactly on the same level as the Imperious Curse, but it's still nasty) would be an interesting opportunity.

EDIT: I will note that Goro Akechi is in Pidonus' plan, as she'll be hiding with him and Futaba Sakura in the aftermath. So the sequence with Rita ideally won't mess that up.
