During the daytime when the store is open, all of the dolls will be mute and unresponsive. The exemption is the inhuman ones, details about them can be read here.

During the fight prompts and the midnight visits, the dolls (including doll Moonblessed) can vocally respond. However, their responses will be limited to curt pleasantries such as "Isn't this fun?", "Does this please you, master?" or "Close your eyes and let me take care of the rest."
